Hey now, you're an all star....
March 07, 2005 @ 9:10 p.m.

Let all people of the world know this... let all mortal beings hear me now....

I UNDERSTAND RADICALS!!!

Whooo. Just in time, too, test's tomorrow.

Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me, I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed....

*Hums* ^^ Today was a pretty good day. Emotionally draining (I was tired as HELL all day, lol, I think it has something to do with getting up twenty minutes earlier than usual to do math...), but fairly good nonetheless. Orchestra was awesome, but they're going to do "get to know other people in the orchestra" activities on, you guessed it, Friday. So Adrienne and the three or four other orch/choir folk get left out. Poo. I think Kriel might do more on next Monday or something, though. Today we were working on rhythm and emotion... basically, we played rhythmic pieces and had some swaying going on. I already sway sometimes when I play, and don't really notice it too much, but then when someone tells you, "Sway!", you focus too much on it and stiffen up....

Lunch today was fine.... Gah, I need to write something in the cobook for tomorrow. I was writing in the journal of doom in health, but then Kiersten wanted to read IM conversations and I forgot about the cobook. (When your teacher goes over everything five times after you go over it yourself, you have time to inobtrusively shrug off the millionth review.)

MC cut his hair! Amy said it bothers her (don't really know why it would...), but I think it's kinda cute. *Shrugs* ^^ Hehe, musical preview is tomorrow, instead of club. That'll be cool, this is supposed to be a really funny musical. ^^ I'll be going to that with mum (and Ash? Dunno) on Thursday.

Gah, karate was deadly tonight. I think I did about forty 360 degree roundhouses (those things are EVIL, I tell you) per leg, and then on top of it all the pushups and situps... I was dying of thirst, heh. Quinn is a little brat, he finds out something and he'll tease and taunt you endlessly, gah. And very obviously, too. *Cringes* Blech. I hope I get my shirt with green trim back soon, I really don't like wearing the tshirt when no one else is.

And whoo, I just finished about 30 radical problems. I think I'll do fine on that test tomorrow. Math like this always has a right answer, eh? And you don't need to know names or dates or statistics or anything, just how to do the math. In some ways I can see how that could be someone's favorite subject, but not mine. The un-arguable Right Answer frustrates me when I can't get it - I like English, where creativity is vital. Creativity is my friend. That and imagination. I like beating my own trail, man.

There's gotta be more to life than chasing down every temporary high to satisfy me....

Good song.

My closet door is broken. Grr. Bothers me. The track is bent or something, but I can't see the track because of the piece of wood in front of it, to try and bend it back into shape... meanwhile, the door is hanging off at an angle, leaving an inch and a half open (at the bottom anyway), where the cats are pulling everything out. @_o Blaaah.

I should draw my room again. I could put so much detail into a drawing of my room, it's scary. It's because it's so messy, of course, but it would still be a neat drawing. Things hanging from shelves, papers hanging over edges, boxes and notebooks and binders precariously stacked....

Yep. Time to go.
