Hmm.

Okay, you know what?

Blah.

So I've painted a little shoebox (not very intricately, I pretty much just painted it black, stamped it with a few of my foam paint stamps, and put "notes" on it in nice lettering with a metallic gel pen) for my notes. A shoebox is wishful thinking, because I love getting notes, but hey. Maybe by the time I graduate I'll have almost filled it. Hahaha.

Ashton has a whole shoebox of 8th grade notes, it was really amazing just seeing them all that one time. When was that... sometime in March. Probably just one of the random times I slept over.

I want to write, but I am utterly uninspired. I should be doing my geometry and studying for the test that is forever on the horizon in that class, but there's some unspoken rule not to do homework on Saturdays. It just... isn't... right.

Oh my.

Ash, my darling, you must realize how insane I'm going without you here in lonely ol' Pennsylvania keeping me company. I hope you're enjoying your vacation, though. ...I didn't go to the GSA dance thing. It was my dad's birthday. --;; And they'd already picked me up from somewhere already, gasp, can't be using any more gas. And, well, I'd probably be pretty lonely there. Dances aren't really my thing, I guess.

I should be doing something... they say starting something is half the battle.

Heh.

I really am feeling quite lazy today.

...The sky looks twice as dark as I started writing this, and that was only nine minutes ago.

I want... to read To Kill a Mockingbird again. That book was amazing, and this stupid song reminds me of it because I was listening to this album obsessively the same time we were reading that book for English.

Some books just strike this feeling in you as you're reading them, and that was one of them. Kinda a sort of 'wow' factor. You think back and you might be sketchy on the details, but you'll always remember the feeling of reading it the first time.

I don't have TKAM... maybe I'll just settle for starting Prisoner of Azkaban for, seriously, about the fortieth time. Or maybe... yes. I'm going to read Ghost Cat again. It's a pretty fast book, I'll be done reading it again by midnight unless I get distracted.

I miss reading things, I haven't really read at all for the pleasure of reading since 8th grade. I should go to Bosler this weekend and wander around in the Young Adult section for a few minutes.

Good night.
