'Catalog Boy'

A poem.

Written, believe it or not, because of a guy on the front of a Kohl's Philly catalog.

Catalog Boy

Pretty boy, I bet you
Break many a heart
With your innocent smile
And intelligent eyes;
Of course you wear Converse
A few layers of shirts
And you've always got
A slight bedhead.

Pretty boy, I bet you
Break many a heart
With your Shakespearean quoting
And deep, soft laught;
You charm plenty of girls
By letting your eyes linger;
I bet they all call you
Such a sweetheart.

Pretty boy, I bet you
Break many a heart
On the Saturday night
When the two of you stumble home;
Kisses, eyes only for each other
Carresses mean everything and nothing
Together, you seem so right
Together, you make so many mistakes

Pretty boy, I bet you
Break many a heart
On the Sunday morning
When you're gone;
And sometimes I wonder
If you can feel my tears
As you go searching
For the next open heart.

I don't know if it sucks or not, because it's 1:30 and I'm tiiiired.

Hmm.
