Placidity

I sit here, hair down and a comb sticking out of it at an odd angle, dead tired and very, very calm.

Shannon's birthday party was fun. Lea is of course awesome, Chris F and Ben are funny, and... that was that. I got to play the marimba! Yaaaay. We also played capture the flag and bounced around on the trampoline before it got dark. My legs thankfully aren't killing me as much as they were during school today, though it does still feel like the muscles in my calves are going to split in half.

I came home stressed out and found a card from Kenyon College at my place at the table and kind of brightened a little. I love Kenyon College. Even if it was a mass mailing, probably to hundreds of students (most probably more able than I to get into such a nice college), I still feel like Kenyon's noticed me a little. Stupid thought, I know.

I turned in the course change form for next year. No more hopes of an easy way out with math analysis: it's hard math for me. Pre-calculus, here I come. Five hard classes next year. Then gym and music and art. Mmmm. Finally, an art class.

En el porvenir, sera una escritora famosa. Si, si. Me gusta escribir mucho....

[You think I can't fly? Well you just watch me! Watch me!]

Thirteen school days left.

Mmmm. Calmness is so much easier.
