It's still $7.25 an hour, but....
June 14, 2007 @ 10:26 p.m.

My new job is going wonderfully. I like working there, and I really like the people. I am no longer surrounded by people who are unwilling to succeed, people who come to work as drones rushing to get everything done with minimal effort -- I am surrounded by driven coworkers who are funny and don't mind helping me with my weird little questions about renewals and claims. Even though today I did pretty much nothing but renewals -- I caught up about a month's worth of renewals (at least a thousand) today in about six and a half hours, and will finish them and catch up claims some more tomorrow -- I still appreciate little differences. Even though I get paid the same, those little differences like being able to get coffee when I need it (or just get coffee, period... gahd renewals are dry...) and ask questions without fear of being yelled at are amazing, I tell you. I met with Randy on Tuesday and we wandered along trails in a few parks. At least, until it rained. It was a crazy storm. We got Chinese food and watched the [horizontal?!] lightning through the window, and drove around a little before going to Thornwald. We saw a lot of bunnies. (BUNNIES!) Then it got rainy again, so we stayed under the gazebo a really long time, and I just really adore that boy. *Beams* Tomorrow is casual Friday at my work! Ooo, excitin'. And then, on Saturday, Randy and I are going out again. Wooot! *Happy* ^____^ -Adrienne
